Drugs of Abuse |
ABON offers a variety of diagnostic tests for identifying abused drugs and drug toxicity detection in patients.
The test can be configured to include one drug substance in a strip format or multiple drug substances configured in a panel or device. If desired, a collection cup can be integrated into the multi-drug test. Those drugs include Amphetamine (AMP), Barbiturates (BAR), Benzodiazepines (BZO), Cocaine (COC), Methamphetamine (MET/mAMP), Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA),Morphine (MOP), Opiates (OPI), Methadone (MTD), Phencyclidine (PCP), THC (Marijuana), Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCA), Buprenorphine (BUP), Oxycodone (OXY), and Propoxyphene (PPX).
To test for adulteration or dilution, one of the best ways is to determine certain urinary characteristics such as Creatinine (CRE), pH, and Specific Gravity (SG) and to detect the presence of Glutaraldehyde (GLUT), Nitrite (NIT) and Oxidants/Pyridinium Chlorochromate (OXI/PCC) in urine. These tests are available individually or in combination, and can be incorporated with our panel and cup formats.
We also provide the Alcohol Saliva Test, a simple and accurate chemical assay for rapid and qualitative detection of alcohol in saliva specimens. |
